People enjoy the look and feel and smell of a book, but unless you've actually put one together, you don't really grasp the beauty of the design. The way the small sections of pages nestle into each other, the stitching that holds all the little packets together, the way the pages are laid out so they make sense when they're put together. Then the binding, the connection to the cover, the fabric on the cover (if it has this). All of the aspects of the creation of the book are highly prized but often over looked when appreiating a book.
