We opened Minor Wines in March of 2021. In the midst of a pandemic we didn't think it would be possible to
ever open. But we finally did it!
You can find us located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, in the South Park area. We partnered with the
coffee shop Cognoscenti Coffee to have our wine shop and bar open in the afternoon and night. In addition to
serving all natural wines we also have a small dinner menu to complement your epxerience.
Natural wine prefers the production of wine without pesticides, chemicals, and other additives. The grapes
are organic, and when you start making the wine, you don’t add anything foreign or take anything away from
it. It is truly as simple as fermented grape juice!
Everything besides wine - cider/beer/sake/hard seltzer/mead - we take the same philosophy as natural wine
and apply it to the best and as close as we can, from organic practices to native yeasts to using real
ingredients.
Baja Med (Southern Californian Fusion) - We couldn’t think of a better representation of this area’s local
ingredients; that combines elements of primarily Mexican, Mediterranean, and East Asian cuisines. We are
focusing on dishes driven by local, organic & sustainable ingredients, with attention to seasonality. We
deeply care about where we source our food because it always tastes better, makes you feel better, and is
better for mother earth.
