This is where LA's high rollers come to lie low. Convinced by his pal Frank Sinatra, Johnny Harlow opened the iconic spot in 1962. It became the watering hole for the Hollywood elite with Sinatra often in the corner playing the piano against the dark brick walls once lined with portraits of his famous (and not so famous) friends.
Decked out in crimson, hunter green and gold, the historic Westside watering hole bears all the hallmarks of a midcentury gentlemen’s club: leather furnishings, stainless steel, and a well-stocked bar. You can still kick back with a single-malt scotch, a pitch-perfect Manhattan or a crisp, shaken Martini, not to mention oysters Rockefeller and prime-aged steak.
Unlike most pedestrian steak houses, each one of our steaks is cooked skillfully by our Grill Master over a stoked live fire with smoking white oak embers. Our steaks are available both wet-and dry-aged and well as Bone-in, grilled to perfection our magnificent custom Woodfire Grill.
