Inspiration for my designs!

It would have to be the Memphis Group that was founded by Ettore Scottsass. With its use of geometric shapes and colors, such as primary, bright neon and pastel, the designs are truly eye-catching. Just by looking at any of their designs, it reminds people that you do not have to create grand pieces for it be be considered art but to realize that art can be anything. I really enjoy how the designs look like they are in a state of disarray, but the colors and the shapes pull the whole piece together. Though I use a lot of geometric shapes and pastel colors, I’d rather have everything look organize and not fill up so much space as it looks cramped. But when I need a little inspiration, I do look back on some of their designs to give me a boost.
