Screamin' Steve's was founded through the love of food and fun experiences. Having traveled all over the south to experiment, learn and eat the amazing cooking of those that have made Hot Chicken what it is, Screamin' Steve's tries to bring the legacy to LA for all to love. The origins of Nashville’s now-famous hot chicken date back to the 1930s. As local legend goes, a scorned woman was seeking revenge on her womanizing significant other, Thornton Prince, so she doused his chicken with cayenne pepper, hoping it would be inedible. But it turned out Prince loved it and decided to open a restaurant. So long story short we can all thank that cheatin' SOB for some delicious chicken!
Give us a holler we would love to get back to you!
