Very little color, I do not know what the theme is for this diner.
Different types of fonts, no similarity, different use of color.
Top of website, although simple, is too busy and distracts user from images of food.
Too simple, does not look like a complete website.
Looks like no one comes to this diner, simple images of food with no actual customers.

What tasks do we need to complete in order to successfully design this website?
Simple layout, organized usage of images, smart usage of fonts, not
too colorful or dull, bring a theme as well as an aesthetic so
users will know right away what the theme is and style is of our establishment.
What issues need to be solved?
Color scheme, usage of fonts, keeping everything together aesthetically speaking,
smarter usage of images, organization and location of navigation bar,
more social media presence.
What is our schedule?
We have until December, and three to four days a week to dedicate to working on
creating amore functional, and fun website to look at and use.
Visual design:
Easy to read font, images laid out nicely, powerpoint carnival in background on front homepage
is simple yet classy, overall I can tell this is a website about a restaurant based on the 20th century.
Content:
Cluttered layout, I understand right away that this is a website about a restaurant, but there are
too many images, the layout is simple and classy but there is too much content going on. Not very organized.
Home page:
User believes as they scroll that it’s just one whole homepage, but in actuality you are scrolling
through multiple tabs at the same time.
Navigation:
Tricky, as you click on the navigational links at the top, it will drag the webpage to that section the
user clicked on. Hurts the eyes when multiple webpages are moving around at the same time.
Functionality:
Simple, easy to use, navigation could use some work. Less movement.
Community building (social media):
Small and unnoticeable. You have to take time to read the little area about that of their social media.
The website lists off where you can find and follow them, but there are no username tags available to be able
to look them up on those platforms.
Target Audience:
Anyone who is able to eat, trying to be able to earn money from those who are parents, single parents, anyone
who wants to have a nostalgic experience going back to the times that customers grandparents as well as those who
lived during that time want to go back to the past. Hard to tell, but most likely target audience is everyone.
Visual design:
Simple homepage, but when you click on other tabs in the navigation bar it takes you to a more colorful more
decorative website area. It has more colors but it looks as though the website designer had a difficult time
combining the styles of that on the homepage as well as the design layout on the Menu bar. Too many images, hard to look at.
Content:
Too much going on, way too many images and the font is so small and cluttered together with other images it is
hard to read and navigate. You have to take a couple of minutes to digest everything that is going on on the other tabs.
Home page:
75% more simple and more organized than that of the other tbas in the navigation.
Navigation:
Font style is different, colors are different as well as the use of images. I have no idea how this layout works
and it is squished too, so it’s hard to understand what the main idea is of this website.
Functionality:
Simple, yet at the same time I have a difficult time with what is going on and I am afraid to click on anything for
it all might give me a virus.
Community building (social media):
Nonexistent. No usage of involving the audience, too much going on about the website that they forget to mention if
they are even on social media.
Target Audience:
Hard to tell but it appears to be everyone, as there are many colors and it appears to be kid friendly.
Visual design:
Elegant, everything looks neat and clean. Easy to read, professional and looks like many customers come here.
Color scheme is easy on the eyes, and I know right away what this website is about. Great use of space.
Content:
Just enough, not too much wording, not too much with the images, although on the menu areas there could be more
use of images. I have no idea what any of their dishes look like as well as their staff, so more use of images
would be the only point.
Home page:
Clean, simple, and aesthetically pleasing. The use of space on the website is simple, and I love the layout.
Great use of typography as well as the logo for this establishment.
Navigation:
Simple to use, navigation bar is readily available, and easy to read. Organized and not afraid to look around.
Functionality:
Clean and fast. It doesn’t take long at all for the website to load. Simple clicks as well as easy to read,
not too much scrolling unlike the other websites. Pleased to even be on this website.
Community building (social media):
Simple, not super noticeable, but they have a blog available, as well as links to their social medias on Twitter and others.
Target Audience: Hipsters as well as those who are in their twenties and up. Does not look like this is a place to bring
kids, more more those who are in the business field or more professional fields. Clean and you could probably bring your kids, but meant for those who want a pace to work as well as those who are considered adults.
