I think that coffee mugs are so under appreciated. They are designed to be comfortably held, can have a ton of different colors, textures, and shapes. They can be tall, short, wide, narrow. Usually they have an ear to hold them so you dont burn yourself when you have hot fluid in them and, they fit more fluid than normal cups or glasses. If designed well they can also be stacked. My favorite kinds are the ceramic ones, kind of like the ones pictured.
