I was born in the Philippines, but I have lived in LA for the past 17 years. I am a medical assistant trying to pursue a career in UX Design. I grew up obsessed with crafting from my mom as I would watch her cross-stitch in her free time. Though I was not good at cross-stitching, I started to find my own ways to be creative by making miniature themed bookcases filled with tiny origami books to junk journaling filled pages. Slowly as I found new ways to create, a technology class from middle school gave me more confidence with web development, which now has inspired me down a path of user-centered design for software.
