I was lucky enough to begin my professional career at the age of 15 as the front end hostess for my parents' restaurant, Casa Mercado, located in Las Vegas, NV.
After graduating high school and moving to Santa Monica, CA, I began a long time career in retail management for brands such as American Eagle and PacSun. I have also worked for Gap, Urban Outfitters, and Sprinkles Cupcakes Pantry.
In 2010, I moved to a new industry with ScanDigital, a photo digitizing company. A began as a photo scanner but quickly moved into a customer service role, eventually building a team of six and becoming the customer service supervisor. In 2012, ScanDigital acquired LTL Prints, a wall decal and stretched canvas printing company. In addition to my everyday responsibilities, I began editing and scaling images for printing, as well as creating paths on images via Photoshop for cut out printing services.
Since 2015, I have been working as a licensed hairstylist in a private studio located in Hermosa Beach, CA.
