- Visual design : Strong black/red/white color theme throughout the website. The "Howlin'" logo works, the "chicken" logo used is too small and is very uneffective.
- Content : Missing language options. Does have accessibility choices! "Contact" option sends me to an external link, not preffered!
- “Call to action” : KEEP IT HOWLIN’
- Navigation : Top Bar stays in place as you scroll down
- Functionality : Very long vertial site. Noticed that the bottom of a few pages is the same photo and information. Photographs spanding the whole width create are a claustrophobic environment.
- Community building (social media) : Yes! They have a FB, IG, Twitter & Yelp. They also have a "story" and "crew" page avaialble.

COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS
We are looking at the restaurants near Howlin' Ray's to see their local competition.
#1 Restaurant Analysis of Amboy Quality Meats & Delicious Burgers
- Visual design : Their webiste was nice and simple, great use of empty space to give each item room to "breathe". Unsure what the horn looking thing on the top right if the page is. Clicking on shows you a map and store info which does not make sense
- Content : Webiste only appears to be consisting of 2 pages, the main page and the "map" page. The 3 other buttons link externally. Menu items are not clickable, terrible!
- “Call to action” : None visible
- Navigation : Does not have a traditional menu button setup
- Functionality : It doesn't! Photos are not clickable and footer buttons send you of the the website
- Community building (social media) : None, no social media or about pages

- “Call to action” : None visible
- Navigation : Veey Simple, Everything important is presented on one page

#3 Restaurant Analysis of Lasita
- Visual design : Has a nice pastel color theme that works! Slide show photos were well chosen. Menus feels like a scanned menu was just uploaded page after page. Easy to read, but feels "cheap" considering some text appears to be accidentally underlined.
- Content : Home page opens on menu. Works to get to the point, feel an opportunity for a home page was missed.
- “Call to action” : "OOOH LASITA!"
- Navigation : only has a Menus/Catering/About page, simple and effective
- Functionality : Slideshow is not clickable, but everything eles is!
- Community building (social media) : Yes, a not labeled link that sends the user to Instagram. Glad it's there, don't like how it's presented.

#4 Restaurant Analysis of Qin West Noodle
- Visual design : Simple and easy to read vertical webiste. "Featured" items are the first thing you notice and are photographed which helps make them important, really like that!
- Content : Webiste only appears to be consisting of 2 pages, the main page and the "locations" page.
- “Call to action” : None visible
- Navigation : Does not have a traditional menu button setup, but doesn't feel like it's missing a "menu" section
- Functionality : There's only 2 menu buttons, so it works? The food menu does have buttons that when clicked change the menu items displayed. Works! Glad it doesn't send me elsewhere.
- Community building (social media) : None, no social media or about pages
