- Undergrind Coffee has a lot of potential. The website has a basic structure, which gives you what you need - social media profiles, hours, location. But, it doesn’t give you things you want, pictures of the food, reviews, or its specialties. There is no information about current delivery or pickup options, unlike some of its competitors. The design could be upgraded for the year 2020 as well, to better attract its potential audience, with attractive, high quality photos and graphics.
- Goal: Modernize the website, make it more responsive and alluring.
- Target: People who care about supporting local, Black-owned businesses. Also, people who like artisinal drinks and delicious food.
- How: Redesign the website with uniform navigation, a robust home page, more photos, customer testimonials, and an internal menu page.

- Alfred’s website is visually stunning. The gif at the very top of the site shows you that they not only make coffee, but also tea and other beautiful drinks. Similar to Bloom and Plume, Alfred’s homepage has. tidbits of each component on the homepage, with a navigation bar and footer for further inspection. Social media icons are displayed at the bottom of navigation as well as the footer.

- Website design is dynamic and eye-catching. It is well-designed and shows you the characteristics of Bloom and Plume. All main aspects of the site are displayed on the homepage, but if you want more information regarding each aspect, you can navigate easily via the toolbar or even the footer. Unfortunately social media is not displayed anywhere on the site.
- Urth Caffe
- Color palette gives the audience the feel of Urth, the colors are neutral and have green for emphasis – they are a coffee shop that also provides healthy food. The top of the site features a slideshow of their coffee and tea, as well as their photogenic pastries and entrees. Unlike the other sites, the website’s homepage is a little lengthy, but does include COVID-19 updates upfront, which is helpful for anyone looking at the website during this time. Navigation and footer options reflect each other very seamlessly, and social media is easy to retrieve at the bottom of the page.
