Analysis

Visual design: The website appears to be outdated and created with an older version of the WIX builder. There is no common theme elements or framework that ties everything together. The top nav menu is poorly designed. Content is also not kept up to date. The images that are used as design elements, such as the background, are too heavy and distracting. Website isn't responsive.

Functionality: Site doesn’t have an option to 'Order Online'. They have no offers or incentives to keep their patrons coming back for more. Calendar is not confortable, and can be made user friendly.

Competitors Analysis

The main competitors are:

• Kiff Kafe Good layout, interesting logo, pretty basic design, easy to use, The problem: the site is not responsive. Not linked proper to social media (icons are not working). No pictures of the menu items to see for a preview, or ordering online.
• LO/CAL Love their logo, and their simple design, however I rapidly lose interest as I scroll down to the embedded PDF menu. This site seems to have been off to a good start but is either currently in progress of development or was left unfinished.
• GroundWork This is a chain of coffee shops has big website. I think they had an interesting design concept possibly tied to their branding style, but this site also seems to either not be completed or the design was not executed successfully.
