Long Beach Thai Restaurant Analysis

Analysis

I will be redesigning the Long Beach Thai restaurant website as I feel like it can be greatly improved when I compared the website to other thai
restaurant websites within the Long Beach area.
I've noticed that the website is not responsive on the desktop. The formatting of the picture elements are off. The navigation is not appealing visually but it still provides its function. It does have a nice call to action. A better color scheme can be used. Overall, the website can be improved!

Competitive Analysis

I defintelay like the slideshow, it immediately grabbed my attention!
The navigation is great and I will be hopefully creating something similar that caters to my concept.
The one thing I don't like is the header. When you start scrolling down, the header is quite big (in my opinion), which make sense to accomdate the logo but I think it can be smaller.
The really cool thing about this website is their use of animations in their menu page! That's really creative on their part and it makes them stand out to the other competitors in the area.
Overall, the website it organized very well and will definitely be used as a resource in my future web designs. It's what you would expect for a modern, responsive website.

I really like the simplicity of this site. The colors are great and I feel like it creates a warm, home feeling.
I enjoy the navigation that this website implements. Very straight to the point. The website as a whole is responsive. Whereas, the Long Beach Thai restuarant website, it's not responsive on the desktop.
I also like the fact that the first thing they show once you scroll down is the menu of all the food they offer. I will probable use that as inspiration for my redesign.

Elephant Thai Kitchen

First thing I checked is how responsive the website is on the desktop, and it's not. On my iphone it is.
In any case, I like the colors and the use of the slideshow. I don't see any use of social media links which I think it's important nowadays to utlized social media as a marketing tool.
Navigation is super eary and straight to the point. What I would like to see on their menu page is a list on the page instead of a link but that's just my personal opinion.
I would want to see the "Make a Reservation" link/button on the navigation to make access quicker.
I realized that the website resembles the Long Beach Thai restuarant but Elephant Thai Kitchen is slightly better.
