Much more dynamic and busy website with looping sliders, photos, textured background, and script fonts. They had a full width grid structure dividing content into boxes with clear headers.

Website copy is kept to a minimum. Lots of photos of the food and food truck, however no photos on the actually menu or drinks pages.
The only call to action is “order online” but it doesn’t really seem like a call to action because it the name of a tab on the navigation bar. They should have it somewhere else on the homepage to make it seem more like a call-to-action.
Navigation could be rearranged and condensed. There is a page for: Menu, Drinks, Specials, Catering, Press, Order Online, and Job Application. I would condense the first three into one. Maybe put a contact tab and a home tab to help with the UX.
Everything functions well on both desktop and mobile.
They have 400 followers on twitter, 1500 likes on Facebook, and 3000 followers on Instagram.
They use subtle visual design and a standard grid system with slider headers. Nice soothing colour palette. They use multiple colours in logo but it's not too overwhelming. Homepage is the most simple out of all the other websites reviewed.
Website copy is kept to a minimum. Lots of high res photos the food. But again - no photos on the actual menu page.
There is a Delivery button and Reservations Button on a bar above the navigation, which is great. That’s the firs thing you see really / catches the users attention.
Very simple navigation bar: About, Menu, Events + Catering, Contact, and Jobs. I think that’s a perfect amount - they are clearly labeled or organized making content easy to find.

I think the client’s business goals with the site is to increase their online orders first, and then the next goal is probably to increase awareness of their restaurant and menu with a broader audience which would increase the number of customers visiting the restaurant.
Their main target audiences are the people living in the area, people working in the area, and larger nearby businesses. For this living nearby, they target low-middle class people - from families, to teens, to middle aged people. For those working nearby, this restaurant is known for the fast food service - so people needing grab-and-go lunches on their breaks. As for the larger local businesses - these would be the ones who need lots of meetings catered.
Does their business brand identity what to change? Do they want to change there goals or business strategy in conjunction with the website redesign? Do they want to incorporate new services or website functions - like the ability to place a pickup order online or reserve a table? Or embed a contact form? What is the budget? What is the timeline? What is the business’s mission?
Business research, competitive analysis, re-branding, wireframing, and user testing.
Definitely need to re-think this single paged scrolling website.
I guess the schedule is around 14 weeks to redesign the website
