Design Brief
For the next phase of our design project development, we are gathering image references from design, fine art, and popular culture that you find inspirational and impactful as you start to move forward developing two (2) of your project concept proposals toward the Project 1 final submission.
As you assemble you inspiration, aesthetics, and reference imagery, use the three categories of visual communications component:
- Graphics
- Typographics
- Photographics
Assignment Requirements
Submit a PDF with two (2) pages of image research, mood boards, and inspiration imagery:
- Above all else, your mood boards cannot be boring! They must be visual intense and aesthetically innovative.
- Print, tabloid presentation (landscape) layout (17 inches width × 11 inches height)
- Full color
- Minimum twelve (12) images per mood board
- Citations required for all images:
- Creator’s name
- Title of work
- Date
- Full URL link to website
- Provide citation on a separate “Works Cited” page at the end of your PDF
