Anti-Vibes

  1. Sensations - Things like rough paper, nails on a chalkboard, dry skin in the winter, and certain cloth materials irritate me.
  2. Talking - I can barely concentrate on work while I am talking, being talked at, or in the same room as a conversation.
  3. Observation - It’s very difficult to work while someone is watching me work or asking questions about the process. I find it very distracting to feel like you’re being watched and every movement is being judged. I also would prefer that people see the finished product as opposed to the incomplete process piece.
  4. Tired - Sleep deprivation makes work take much longer and I usually make more mistakes when I am very tired. It also sets me up for failure the next day when I don’t get enough sleep.
  5. Phone - My phone is such a big distraction when I’m trying to get work done and having it out where I can see notifications always draws my attention away from the work.
