The first time I heard about Christoph Niemann was from the Netflix documentary, Abstract. I was impressed with his creativity by playing with light and angles to create a new image with basic objects. He creates unique sceneries and images by combining 3D objects with a sketch. One example is when Niemann drew a bike rider on a taxi window to seem like a person was sitting on a bike, but by accident, the taxi started moving and appeared as if the sketched person was riding the bike on the road. Niemann inspires me because he knows how to balance negative space with random objects and drives me to look at things differently. He helps me see beyond what is in front of me.
