GONGCHA

The study of existing restaurant:

At Gong Cha, we believe in serving quality bubble tea. Our teas can be blended with a variety of fruits, toppings and creative mixes. Gong Cha prides itself on offering fresh tea and toppings to our customer’s everyday. How do we do this? Our tea and tapioca pearls are kept fresh every four hours. Bubble tea is our specialty and we are excited to have our customers enjoy a great cup of tea with Gong Cha.

What works:

The website is filled with information about the brand which is not hard to find.

What does not work:

As soon as the home page is opened a video with sound starts playing. The website lacks design management. The website is not very responsive.

Competitive analysis:

THE ALLEY

The website is very responsive, has nice visual design that gives the feeling of the brand. Some of the navigation tags are “about”,”quality”, “store”,”contact”. The page has media navigation tags as media icons which gives it a cleaner look.

SHARE TEA

The website has a nice page layout and on the “menu” page, a filtering option is available. Navigation includes “drinks”, “stores”, “catering”, “franchise”. Social media icon tags are found at the footer of the page.

TESTEA

The website is responsive, has a well made home page functionality. It is easy to navigate through the site. The navigation tags are “menu”,”online ordering”, “shop us”, “blog”, “locations”.

DING TEA

The website has a very appealing home page and it is very responsive and easy to navigate. The navigation tags the website has are “about”, “menu”, “f.a.q.”, “location”,”media”, “comtact”,”careers”

Goals and target audience:

The goals for the website are to have a responsive well-designed site to attract more audience, help have a better understanding of the brand, and make it easier to navigate through the site effortlessly.Target audience is everyone who would enjoy a boba drink any time of the day.
