Redesigning gesso Restaurant's Website

  1. Since this restaurant provides a service by customer friendly price range ($10-20 per dish), the target audience will be around mid 20 to 35 years old. Modern and unique interior design will be suitable for young couples and families.
  2. When I opened up the website, it was hard to catch the atmosphere of this restaurant at first sight. Photo images of cuisine are only available on the bottom page of about, so those images can move to home to present uniqueness of dishes.
  3. The way to show SNS panel is less impact since they provide SNS buttons on the bottom of the website with the same color as a background.
  4. More restaurant's images are needed on the main page to enhance the image of Gesso.

  1. High-resolution images on the top page make people want to explore this website more.
  2. Menu show up as PDF format and it is easy to open up and check the list.

  1. The name logo of the restaurant shows up on the upper part of the site with a white background makes customer easy to get attention.
  2. Thin typography on the menu bar, but it's still legible.
  3. Once I scroll down, menu bar came up on the top of the website to not disturb the pictures and article.

  1. This site has bright color palette and images. When I was scrolling down the main page to the bottom, viewers could understand the concept of dishes and culture in this restaurant immediately.
  2. It's easy to find the SNS and reservation sections as a banner on the right side.
  3. Slideshow of food/restaurant photos on experience section is a useful tip to get a scene of this restaurant.
